BABY GURL: ACCEPTING REALITY IN CONTRADICTIONS
"Form is replaced by exchange. The things we make negotiate a relationship over which we have a profound control." -Michael Rock
Design ideology evolves continuously into a multiplicity of direction, often making for complex contradictions. The zine BABYGURL: Accepting Reality in Contradictions investigates this conundrum with articles from John Meada, Micheal Rock (quoted above) and James Altucher.
Through creating this project I came to more fully appreciate the development of opinions within design history --both individually and broadly. By comparing the complex interwoven mentalities of cross disciplinary discourse I found that no one opinion encompasses truth fully. Ideas must rely upon one another to form holistic truths. That is why most of the imagery is inspired by scientific data that weighs and monitors multiple factors.
